2013 2013 2013 06 July 2013 Within the framework of the epidemiological surveillance of the novel Coronavirus (MERS-CoV), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced that three confirmed cases have been recorded. Two cases are for 66 and 69-year-old Saudi males in Riyadh, and now at the ICU. The third case is for a female resident, who works at the health staff in Hafr Al-Batin. Furthermore, the MOH has announced the death of two citizens, who had been previously announced to be infected with this virus. The first case is for a 53-year-old citizen in the Eastern Region, that is to be added to a two-year-old child in Jeddah who had been suffering from chronic pulmonary diseases, May Allah have mercy upon them.
