The Crosby effect 2013
2013 2013 2013 For those who follow this kind of thing, yesterday's YouGov/Sunday Times poll (1877 sample size) gave Labour a 7% lead. Apart from a brief double figure blip earlier in the month, this places Ed Miliband languishing in basically the same position he has occupied for the last month or so.

The poll has some interesting questions and responses about the Keogh report, cigarette packaging and the role of Lynton Crosby. Most of those asked had never heard of the lobbyist but awareness is growing.

Despite wobbles over Europe and gay marriage, the weekend press described Cameron as 'sunny' as he watched cricket at Lords. The Labour leader on the other hand was reportedly looking 'grim'. It's understandable given that he has handed the party's political enemies an advantage by resurrecting the old bogey of leftist union paymasters.

The guidance apparently offered to Cameron & Osborne by Lynton Crosby has been to jettison non-essentials in getting the electorate to understand what it is that you're about. It's probably good advice. Miliband should think about taking it.
2013 2013 2013
For those who follow this kind of thing, yesterday's YouGov/Sunday Times poll (1877 sample size) gave Labour a 7% lead.
